NOLA: Home of Jazz, Beignets, and SHRM 2022
Last week, a few members of the Nayya team had the opportunity to fly down to New Orleans, Louisiana to attend SHRM 2022—one of the largest HR conferences in America.
Thousands of HR leaders took to the conference center to network, learn, and hopefully lay their eyes on the next big thing. From meeting with attendees at our booth in the expo hall, to joining HR and benefits podcasts, to listening to some of the most influential HR leaders’ presentations, we learned a lot. We are so excited to share it with you.
From the Expo Hall
"As soon as the doors opened on Day 1, you could actually feel the excitement and energy radiating off the show floor. These past two years have presented HR Leaders with challenges we've never seen before, and teams are eager to learn about "the next big thing" that can help solve these new challenges."

One major topic of conversation? Open enrollment challenges. Recent research found just how much time HR teams are spending answering employee questions and providing benefits education during open enrollment, and it's a lot. 400 episodes of the Kardashians worth. The research also found that:
68% of employees feel their benefits have fallen short.
63% of employees aren't confident when choosing their benefits.
90% of employees believe benefits have an impact on their own retention.
